Nix (they/them) is an energetic, queer artist joining the Minus18 team as a Workshop Presenter. They are passionate about LGBTQIA+ inclusion and supporting young people in the community.

Nix is a graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts with years of experience as an actor and theatre director. Their work has a strong focus on theatre for young people, having toured with the education programs at Bell Shakespeare, the National Theatre of Parramatta and Perform! Education. They are also an ex-primary school rock band teacher (so a real-life Dewey Finn!).

Thanks to their performing experience, Nix has developed an honest and engaging presentation style, sculpted by the amazing students they have met all across the country.
